The food tour, hosted by Mark, exceeded our expectations! The historical walk gave us a whole new perspective on what Moncton has to offer, while introducing us to local, off-the-beaten-path restaurants and cuisines we never would have found on our own. From refreshing lemonade and chocolate tastings to a delicious charcuterie board, every stop was unique. We wrapped up the tour at a rooftop bar, taking in the view and seeing just how much the water had risen. By far one of the best food tours we’ve ever been on. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had been in Moncton a couple of times before, but really only as a stopover enroute to other Maritime destinations. This time we were there for 4 nights, and wisely started our trip the first day with Unexpected Moncton’s Food & Drink Tour. This was a fantastic tour, and Mark was a great guide. We made 6 stops and most of the places we wouldn’t have discovered on our own — and we returned to several of them afterwards. There was a good variety of food, both savory and sweet, and interesting drinks, both soft and alcoholic. The last stop was particularly amazing, both in atmosphere and the food and drink offering. The historical information we heard along the way was also very interesting. This was a wonderful way to begin our stay in the Moncton area.

Mark was an excellent guide that took us to some fine establishments in Moncton. We’ve been to Moncton numerous times but I don’t like going downtown in fears of getting lost. But Mark was very informative on the establishments we visited along with parts of the city. Well worth the money. Would love to do it again.
